The Pelican SYMBIOSA aluminum carbon paddle is a high-end touring paddle perfect for your next kayak adventure. This lightweight performance paddle is fully adjustable for a custom fit. It features a two-piece carbon wrapped aluminum shaft, fiberglass reinforced nylon blades, drip rings, 0 – 65° blade angle adjustment. INDEXING feature: To ensure you are holding your paddle properly, there is a very subtle variation in the shaft of our paddles. The shaft goes from a rounded shape to a slightly oval shape (called indexing) which serves as a reference to where you should be placing your right hand. This allows you to grip the paddle firmly with your right hand and loosely with your left hand, which will prevent fatigue and lead to a more pleasurable experience.
